Hyperwear was founded in 2011 by inventor Dirk Buikema around a simple mission: "Get Strong for Life." It's best known for the Hyper Vest, a weighted vest line Hyperwear says it has sold since 2008. The vests use thin steel weights and stretch fabric to hug your body instead of bouncing around like a bulky plate carrier.  Beyond vests, Hyperwear makes rucking gear, workout sandbags like the SandBell, weighted jump and battle ropes, and wrist and ankle weights. Many of its products are made in the USA from recycled materials.
