We've Updated Our Privacy Policy β Oct 2026
We've updated our Privacy Policy to cover optional HSA/FSA account connections. Here's the quick version of what's changed and what you control.
We're always working to be as transparent as possible with our community, and that includes how we collect, use, and protect your information. We recently made some updates to our Privacy Policy, and we want to give you the quick version of what's changed.
π£ What's New?
1. Connecting Your HSA or FSA Account (Optional)
You can now connect an HSA or FSA account to see your balance and find products in our Shop that may be eligible for your benefit. If you do, we receive the name of your bank or benefits provider, your account name and type, the last four digits of the card, your balances and their history, and your transactions and holdings so we can show them to you in the app. If you connect an account that isnβt FSA or HSA, we receive the same information for it. We never receive or store your full card number or your login details for your bank or benefits provider.
2. Who Helps Us Do It
Connections run through Quiltt, which links to your bank or benefits provider with your permission. To set up the connection, we share your name and email with Quiltt. We've added Quiltt and Ntropy, which cleans up transaction details like merchant names on Quiltt's behalf, to our list of service providers.
3. How We Use and Protect It
We use your connected-account information to show you your balances, recommend products in our Shop that may be eligible for your benefit, and send you helpful tips on getting the most out of your HSA or FSA benefit. You can opt out of those tips at any time. We don't use your connected-account information for advertising, we don't share it with retail merchant partners or advertisers, and we don't share your balances or transactions with our analytics tools. A small number of authorized Stridekick team members can view connected-account information when they need it to help with support.
Some merchants in our Shop pay Stridekick a commission when you make a purchase. We don't share your connected-account information with those merchants, including when you click through to their sites.
Eligibility indications in the Shop are informational and are not tax, legal, or medical advice. Your plan administrator makes the final determination of what is eligible.
4. You're in Control
Connecting an account is completely optional. If you take part in Stridekick through your employer or organization, they and your challenge admins never have access to your HSA or FSA data or transactions. You can disconnect a card at any time. When you do, we stop receiving updates from it and delete the information we stored about it within 30 days. If you delete your Stridekick account, all of your connected-account data is deleted within 30 days.
π Why We Made These Updates
We want to keep earning your trust. These updates help us:
- Be upfront about a new, optional type of information before we start collecting it
- Explain exactly who handles your financial account data, and why
- Make it clear what you control and how to remove your data
