Pros
  • Continuous lit display
  • 1+ year battery life
  • Inactivity alerts
Cons
  • Poor app
  • Lack of vibration alerts (only audible)
Description

This Garmin device is one of their top basic trackers. This device is equipped with 24/7 activity and sleep tracking and an idle/move alert that will keep you active throughout your days. It also has a newer stopwatch feature which is great for workouts. Although it does have audible move alerts it is lacking the vibration component– which could cause problems in quiet settings. The Garmin app is a bit basic and could use some improvements– although it’s pretty cool that it can pull in your data from previous Garmin devices. The water resistance rating of 5 ATM makes showering with your device possible. What’s different from the original Vivofit you may be wondering? The addition of a backlight, a timer, beeper when you’ve been idle for too long, a newer and more secure clasp and additional colors.

Who the Garmin Vívofit 2 is great for

The Garmin Vívofit 2 is perfect for you if you’re looking for a 24/7 activity and sleep tracking device with inactivity alerts and a year plus battery life, which means no charging.
